Holly Hunter, an American actress and film producer from America, is well-known for her stellar performances in films like Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Incredibles. She won several awards including an Oscar for the film Piano. The path to acting began with Broadway through a myriad of Broadway and Off Broadway projects. The art of acting has been a constant love of life. In the fifth grade she portrayed Helen Keller. Her mumps left her deaf and blind in one ear. However, she didn't let this hinder her progress as an actor. She was a drama major at the college before moving from Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania to New York City to follow her dream. When she moved into Los Angeles, Hunter tried to get movie roles. A supporting role was securing in Swing Shift. The actress has appeared in many films, TV series and movies over the course of her professional career. Holly Hunter has a Hollywood Walk of Fame celebrity and has won the Women in Film Lucy Award.
